Board votes to raise Turnpike tolls
The Turnpike Board has voted on a proposal Friday that would raise tolls on the Mass Pike inside Route 128 because of deep debt from the Big Dig.  The 4 to 1 vote is in line with recommendations from the Board's executive director Alan LeBovidge.  He recommended a 75-cent toll hike to the Allston-Brighton and Weston tolls, bringing them to $2.00.  He also recommended a doubling of the tunnel ...
